Fire Axe Quest (Edron)
Step 1 The dragon lair hill
The Edron dragon lair lies north-west of Edron: cross the mountain pass over the ramps at 33241,31767 and 33216,31756, walk west to the hill and go down the ramp at 33099,31699. On floor 8 drop into the hole at 33089,31673, then use a rope on the rope spot at 33091,31666 (floor 9) - it takes you up into the main lair on floor 8, full of dragons. Bring a rope, a pick and a destroy field rune.
Step 2 Three holes and the level 60 gate
In the main lair drop into the hole at 33084,31653 (floor 8) and, past the dragon lord on floor 9, into the hole at 33086,31650. On floor 10 pass the gate of expertise at 33085,31650 (level 60) and drop into the hole at 33083,31649 to floor 11, where three dragon lords wait.
Step 3 The chest and the pick hole
On floor 11 the chest at 33078,31656 holds a bag with a ring of healing, a dragon necklace and 7 small diamonds. The fire axe lies one floor lower: use a pick on the muddy floor at 33081,31651 - a fire field burns on it, so clear it with a destroy field rune - and step into the hole before it closes again after 5 minutes. On floor 12 the pile of bones at 33084,31650 gives the fire axe. Both rewards have their own quest numbers, so one character takes both.
Step 4 Way out
Use your rope on the rope spots under the holes: 33081,31651 (floor 12), 33083,31649 (floor 11), 33086,31650 (floor 10) and 33084,31653 (floor 9). On floor 8 drop into the hole at 33091,31666, use your rope at 33089,31673 (floor 9) and walk up the ramp at 33099,31699.
