Vampire Shield Quest (Edron)
Step 1 Into the Hero Cave north of Edron
The Hero Cave lies north of Edron: cross the mountain pass over the ramps at 33241,31767 and 33216,31756 and walk to the hole at 33163,31636 - the same entrance as for the Demon Helmet Quest and the Annihilator. Drop through it and through the holes at 33161,31624 (floor 8), 33136,31593 (floor 9), 33169,31588 (floor 10), 33150,31595 (floor 11) and 33144,31589 (floor 12) down to floor 13. Bring a rope: the way back up leads through the rope spots under these holes. Wild warriors, hunters, priestesses, demon skeletons, monks, dragons and a hero live on the way.
Step 2 Through the great hall to the temple
You land next to the ladder at 33144,31589 (floor 13). Walk south along the corridor to 33146,31641 and east along y 31641 to the crossroads at 33191,31641, where minotaurs, monks, stalkers and wild warriors roam. Take the corridor south to the stairs at 33192,31658 and go down to the Temple of Xayepocax on floor 14.
Step 3 The level 70 gate
The temple is full of demon skeletons, monks, heroes, priestesses, witches, hunters and a warlock. At its southern end the box at 33188,31682 gives a bag with a mysterious fetish, a black pearl and a strange symbol. Behind the gates of expertise at 33190,31684 and 33195,31684 (level 70) two more boxes hold a dragon lance (33189,31688) and the vampire shield (33195,31688). Each box has its own quest number, so one character takes all three.
Step 4 Way out
Go back up the stairs at 33192,31658 and climb the ladder at 33144,31589 on floor 13. On each floor above use your rope on the rope spot right under the hole you came through: 33150,31595 (floor 12), 33169,31588 (floor 11), 33136,31593 (floor 10), 33161,31624 (floor 9) and 33163,31636 (floor 8).
